I was just browsing on some fashion in Italy for their fashion week, and I thought most of the designers dress are just not something I’d buy. I mean, its over priced, doesn’t look comfortable, and bizarre looking! Maybe I will consider it for Halloween or a special dress up party, but definitely won’t wear in on a normal day. Here are some photos from the 2008 Italy,Milan fashion week:
This photo below, she looks like a panda wearing a fairy costume. I give it a thumbs down. What about you?

This one here, looks like something growing out from her dress. Would you really wear this out on a normal day? What’s the purpose of the spike coming out of her dress?

This orange funny look dress for Halloween too?Yeah, I am sure the color matches Halloween perfectly.

I don’t understand why all fashion shows has to be so complicated, and crazy looking clothing that most people wouldn’t wear in public. I guess fashion shows are competition to see who can make the most bizarre looking clothes. Whats your opinion on the run way designers? Do you think they’re wasting too much time and effort in designing fashion clothing that most people will not purchase? and most of us will not wear?

What do you think of the latest Triumph’s bra that is feature with a pair of cups that resemble bowls of rice and miso soup, and a set of chopsticks that tuck into either side? It is designed to boost awareness of enviornmental issues promoting the use of reusable chopsticks instead of the disposable wooden kind.
It is common to use the disposable wooden chopsticks in restaurants to save time for dish washing in Taiwan, Japan and China. Japan is probably one of the largest users of wooden chopsticks among the three countries. It is estimated that 23 million of trees are cut off for the use of wooden chopsticks. And China has recently announced their plan to stop the export of disposable chopsticks to reduce the deforestation.

So, here we have the young Japanese model carrying a personal reusable chopsticks. And it is now a trendy thing for girls to have a reusable chopsticks in their purses! Do you carry chopsticks in your handbags too? And would you wear this bra on a daily basis?

Ever wonder how to apply make like in the movies of “Memoirs of a Geisha?” No, Geisha are not prostitutes! But “Geisha” is a female, professional Japanese entertainer and hostess. It is believed that Geisha started wearing white face makeup to establish themselves in society. Just like here in Taiwan, a white face is a sign of nobility and wealth. Some historians believe that Geisha started wearing white because the beautiful women in the west had white faces.

Well, learning to apply a Makeup like Geisha isn’t too difficult, but it does take practice. Just like how it works with anything, practice makes perfect. Let me take you through these steps:
- Before applying anything on your face, you need to clean and dry your face and apply face moisturizer.( moisturizer helps protect skin from makeup and prevent from being dry.)
- Apply a white foundation or a cakey white face paint to your face. (You don’t want the makeup to be too thick or too stark. Remember, you’re trying to be a geisha, not a clown!)
- Use an ivory foundation and then covering it with a white powder. (This should help moderate the color.)
- Draw new, thin, dark eyebrows above your existing eyebrows.
- Wait for foundation to dry, then put red blush on your cheeks. You want your checks to look full. To achieve this look, apply the blush to the round part of your check rather than lightly brushing it over your check bones.
- Eyes: outlining your entire eye with a thick eyeliner.
- Apply a dark eye shadow from your eye up to your eyebrow line.
- Put at least three coats of mascara on your eyelashes!
- Apply a dark red lipstick to your lips and viola.

Who Looks Better in Red Hot Lips?

Many women avoid trying a red lip because they feel it can look too brash, but this depends on the way you apply it. I personally think girls who wear red lipstick are sexy. Who do you think look best in their red hot lips? Mischa Barton or Rebecca Romijn? You decide!

Tips: A matte red can make you look too done-up, so go for a glossier red instead. Line and fill in your lips with a lip liner that closely matches your natural lip color. Apply lipstick, blot with a tissue and lightly dust your lips with powder to give it extra-staying power. Since red lips are dramatic, you should keep the rest of your face bare or else you’ll look like you belong in the circus or something!
Oh just a reminder: if your teeth are yellow, wearing red shade with blue undertones will help make your pearly white looks a litter more pearly and white. The secret to wearing red hot lipstick is feeling comfortable. All it takes is confidence to back it up!

Today, I went to a restaurant called “Pandora” in Chunghua county for dinner with my friends, and I had the best steak in town! Paula, who looked the best in her outfit didn’t allow me to take a photo of her. But I finally persuaded her to do so, and I promised to make her look good! (And she does!) So here is my final picture of Paula in her new blue, striped line, Japanese long sleeves dress. Her cute dress from a Japanese brand called “Gozo”, long sleeves, but a little short for winter! Luckily the weather today wasn’t as cold as the day before. She wore her favorite green Lacoste shoe, with her long, knee length black socks that makes her legs look taller. I took a closer picture of her shoe that I’m also thinking about buying. I think this shoe is good when going shopping, or I’d wear it on a casual work day.

20 year old Paula from Taiwan, Kaoshong wants to know, what you think of her new dress? Let her know! So start sending me your comments!:)

I love Halle Berry’s fashion taste, she looks gorgeous and stylish in every outfit she puts on. Her flat, sliver comfy sandals for only $99 dollars are perfectly matched with her black causal dress, which she transformed from a party favorite to a daytime piece. Her purse from Yves Saint Laurent tote bag is fabulous but out of my price range! But, as a whole this outfit is nice and simple. So simple, and basic makes her look so cool and sophisticated! Do you agree with me?!
