Do men really wear makeup? It seems like some guys really do apply make up since the “Guyliner” and “Natural Lashes for Men product” are out in stock. The fake lashes are basically the same as the ones they make for women, but just a little more natural looking and with a virtually clear strip along the base, so there’s no tell-tale false lashline.

Instead of buying women’s cosmetic make-up, there’s an eye-liner especially made for guys. Which they named it “Guyliner.” I guess it makes the guys feel better for purchasing a MEN product, instead of a women huh?!  So, what do you think of these new cosmetic products for the men?  Guys, if you are reading this, would you really wear fake lashes and eyeliners? And, ladies what would you think if your man was wearing the same make up as you?

ThaiMed Cosmetic Surgery

While enjoying a cup of coffee at a nice, cozy coffee shop, two girls sat behind me gossiping about their lives, boys, and most importantly how their new eyelids and nose has made them more attractive and confident. As I was listening to the two 18 years-old girl commenting on each other’s new look got me interested in this topic, “plastic surgery.” Eyelid jobs and nose job is probably one of the most common surgical procedures, and plastic surgery is growing in popularity each year! Not only women are having cosmetic surgery, men are also participating in it too! (Click Here To Read More…)

Asian Babe Eye Lash Extention

Women every where are apparently lashing out! Eyelash extensions are the latest and greatest trend today to improve your looks. Women will do whatever it takes to have their eyelashes standout. Mascara is one way to extend your eye lash, however many women are tired of applying it everyday. The latest trend today is the eyelash extension of which will last some a couple weeks, or months! I’ve done it before, and really enjoyed my long lashes (since most Asian has really thin lashes). The procedure to attach the extensions is painless and can be done in just a few hours.

Now, lets here what the men has to say about women with fake eyelash extension

1. What do you think of women in fake lashes?

What is wrong with you?

- Rich, USA

I don’t like extension eyelashes, they make someone more fake. They say eye say a lot about a person and just by puttin fake lashes, just says the girl’s probably fake, materialistic, and stuck up!

- Tom, Taiwan

hmmm….I think it’s kind of hot!

- Jerry, USA

One time my girlfriend had it done, and part of her fake lashes were falling off. Some parts were long, and some parts were short. It’s a waste of money, and time. Natural beauty is the best

-Ray, Taiwan

I think its dumb and stupid.

- Chris, Canada

I don’t really care. Looks the same to me.

-Jason, Taiwan

Geisha Japanese Sexy Girl

Ever wonder how to apply make like in the movies of “Memoirs of a Geisha?” No, Geisha are not prostitutes! But “Geisha” is a female, professional Japanese entertainer and hostess. It is believed that Geisha started wearing white face makeup to establish themselves in society. Just like here in Taiwan, a white face is a sign of nobility and wealth. Some historians believe that Geisha started wearing white because the beautiful women in the west had white faces.

Make up professional Geisha

Well, learning to apply a Makeup like Geisha isn’t too difficult, but it does take practice. Just like how it works with anything, practice makes perfect. Let me take you through these steps:

  • Before applying anything on your face, you need to clean and dry your face and apply face moisturizer.( moisturizer helps protect skin from makeup and prevent from being dry.)
  • Apply a white foundation or a cakey white face paint to your face. (You don’t want the makeup to be too thick or too stark. Remember, you’re trying to be a geisha, not a clown!)
  • Use an ivory foundation and then covering it with a white powder. (This should help moderate the color.)
  • Draw new, thin, dark eyebrows above your existing eyebrows.
  • Wait for foundation to dry, then put red blush on your cheeks. You want your checks to look full. To achieve this look, apply the blush to the round part of your check rather than lightly brushing it over your check bones.
  • Eyes: outlining your entire eye with a thick eyeliner.
  • Apply a dark eye shadow from your eye up to your eyebrow line.
  • Put at least three coats of mascara on your eyelashes!
  • Apply a dark red lipstick to your lips and viola.

Elf Cosmetics

Oh, and I stole some make-up tips from ELF! ELF has a section of quick make up tips, and for those who don’t know, I am really protective about my eyes. Especially when I am not getting enough sleep waking up with panda eyes! Or maybe, after a night of crying because of my relationship problems my eyes turns out to be real puffy. If you have the same worries, ELF gives us a special tip: “Run teaspoons under cold water, and place on eyes for a few seconds. Close the eyes, then using the rounded edge massage gently by rolling back and forth over the eye area.” It really works!

Marc Jacobs Sunglasses

So, here I am in one of the hottest county in Taiwan, Chunghua. Every morning I step out of my door, and there the big, bright sun blinds me from walking to school. I really need new shades! I was shopping online today, and found some cool pairs of shades from Marc Jacobs. They are quite pricey, but the celebs are wearing them too! I found this picture of Hilary Duff wearing the sunglasses I want! They look gorgeous on her, and I want them too!

Heres a little info to share:

How Sun Can Damage Your Eyes?

All light is a form of energy. When your eyes absorb light, the process creates heat or chemical reactions in eye tissue. These reactions can cause permanent damage if the eye’s natural ability to heal itself is overwhelmed.

Different parts of the eye absorb different kinds of UV radiation and light. For example:

  • The surface layers of the outer part of the eyeball (the cornea and the conjunctiva) absorb UVB rays.
  • The lens absorbs mainly UVA rays.
  • The retina (the light-sensitive lining at the back of the inner eyeball) absorbs visible light.

If eyes are overexposed to ultraviolet radiation, the front portion of the eyes may be damaged. If visible light is too bright or intense, or if you stare directly at the sun, even briefly, the retina can be damaged, causing permanent loss of vision.

UV radiation, along with wind and drying of the eye, may cause snow blindness, an uncomfortable but temporary condition. There is some evidence that daily exposure to UV radiation in very bright sunlight over many years may increase the risk of developing cataracts. Cataracts cause a gradual clouding of the natural lens of the eye.

It Is Important To Choose The Right Pair Of Sunglasses:

Make sure the lenses are dark enough to keep your eyes comfortable, but not so dark that they reduce your vision. If you spend a lot of time outdoors in intense glare from sunlight bouncing off snow or water, you should wear sunglasses that block blue light. Medium to dark lenses with a grey, or a slightly brown or green tint, will filter out most blue light.

Most sunglasses have plastic lenses. These lenses are tougher than glass and less likely to shatter. If you buy plastic lenses, look for a pair with a scratch-resistant coating. Check the lenses for distortion by putting the sunglasses on and looking at a rectangular pattern, such as floor tiles. If the lines stay straight when you move your head up and down, and side-to-side, then the amount of distortion is acceptable.

Sunglasses are made with different kinds of lenses to meet different needs:

  • Regular lenses reduce the brightness of everything evenly.
  • Polarizing lenses are designed to cut glare due to reflection. This means they are good for driving and outdoor activities in the snow or on water.
  • Photochromic lenses change with the intensity of UV light by turning darker when outdoors and lighter when indoors. If you wear these for driving, choose sunglasses that are fairly dark.
  • “Flash” or mirror lenses reflect all or part of the light instead of absorbing it. They offer no performance advantage as they scratch easily. You should choose a pair with a scratch-resistant coating.
