I always thought headbands are quite flattering and always loved wearing them. However, they donâ€™t really serve much practical purposes. It does get quite annoying when it keeps falling off my head. Also, some of the headbands makes my head hurts.

Despite the fact that it falls off once every half an hour, headbands offer a fabulous way to instantly dress up your hairstyle. It deals with a bad hair day by controlling unruly hair or help with the painful and long process of growing out bangs.

Japanese always comes up with something that interests me. A Japanese pop artist, Nagi Noda designed these creative hairpieces for an exhibition that took place May of last year in Tokyo.

Eyola Adede- Nigerian-born, British-based designer who recently showed at the crazy-headgear show by sending her models walking down the catwalk sporting animal hairpieces. Â Yes, sounds bizarre, but it brings out the definition of true art.

I am just having a little bit of a hard time idenfying each animal. Help me out guys!

No More Straightening Iron

For smoother hair, a dryer is better than hair straightener. Before I’d use hair straightening after shower, because it tends to hang limp after using a straightening iron, while blow drying doesn’t. I useÂ hair straightening irons so much that it totally damaged my hair, and I think I’ll stop using it for a while.

Hair-straightening irons that use heat and pressure to make hair look smooth should be avoided! If you wish to have a straight hair after washing your hair here are a few steps to follow:

After you washing your hair, your hair should be towel-dried before starting to blow it dry.
A large round brush and an attachment with a narrow opening should be used.
Gently pulled through bristles while blowing it dry (The hair should not be rolled up in the brush.)
By using hair spray or other product that protects the hair from heat. (it prevents dryness)

According to my recent poll, most men prefer women in wavy long hair.

“Long hair is traditionally strongly linked to femininity which we’re sure is the reason that almost half of men have singled out this long, thick, wavy hair as their number one sexiest style.

Also, Half of the men questionedÂ said they like girls who wear their hair down rather than in a smart up-do.Â As for me, I also prefer long wavy hair. I think with this hair style it appears to be natural and sexy.Â This feminine look are worn by many women, and recent polls also show that women with long hair are more attractive to men. Bangkok New Nomad Moroccan Club: Party 4 Charity Asia

The new Moroccan club in Bangkok on Sukhumvi soi 12 threw a party for a great cause. The theme was “What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up.” The founder is Natalie Glebova, Miss Universe 2005 and creator of party4charityasia.org. The party was held to encourage contribution towards the 108 Punna Project, which will help to build a library for orphans at the Wat Sakaew Foundation. The dress code for the event gave the freedom to be what we’ve always dreamed to be. (Such as a fire-fighter, a nurse, a politician, or a famous singer.)

The volunteers were well dressed and looking gorgeous in their outfits. One of the volunteers at the party, Eilidh MacQueen, dressed up as Marilyn Manroe. I thought she looked exactly like Marilyn Manroe! What about you, do you think Eilidh pulled of the look?

Many women have side bangs because it slims our face and having it changes the whole hair itself. Not only women who get to benefit from the face slimming feature of bangs and men today are beginning to see the potential in this trendy style too. I’m not sure if this suits all men, but I don’t like men with side bangs. In my opinion, I think it looks too girly. I like the ordinary, short, spiked gelled up hair on men which looks more appropriate to me!

Halloween Costume Tips and Ideas

Are you still having a hard time looking for your perfect Halloween costume? Well, here are some creative costume I find people wearing this on the street of Japan. To them, its not just for Halloween, it’s however something they wear on a normal day. I mean, if this is what they wear on a normal day, what would they be wearing on Halloween?!

I’m gonna name this the “Sexy Clown Outfit.” No, she’s not wearing a wig, it is permanently dyed in three different colors, pink green and blue. (Notice the roots of her hair is showing. She should probably re-dye it?) Her exotic makeup matches her pink polka dot dress along with her bright pink socks and heels. Would you consider this outfit for your Halloween costume?

This next photo, I’ll name it the Barbie costume. Notice their big bow on the top of their heads matching their poofy dresses. I wouldn’t mind wearing the dress, but having a big ribbon on my head would be too much! But then again, for Halloween it’s fine to exaggerate yourself a little bit yea?
