Long, distinctive and REAL eyelashes have always gotten my attention (in a GOOD way). In the past years, I've noticed a change, for the worse. Now I see girls with cartoonishly long and fake-looking lashes messily glued on. They just make a girl look cheap, cheesy, sloppy and SILLY.
