Are you still having a hard time looking for your perfect Halloween costume? Well, here are some creative costume I find people wearing this on the street of Japan. To them, its not just for Halloween, it’s however something they wear on a normal day. I mean, if this is what they wear on a normal day, what would they be wearing on Halloween?!
I’m gonna name this the “Sexy Clown Outfit.” No, she’s not wearing a wig, it is permanently dyed in three different colors, pink green and blue. (Notice the roots of her hair is showing. She should probably re-dye it?) Her exotic makeup matches her pink polka dot dress along with her bright pink socks and heels. Would you consider this outfit for your Halloween costume?
This next photo, I’ll name it the Barbie costume. Notice their big bow on the top of their heads matching their poofy dresses. I wouldn’t mind wearing the dress, but having a big ribbon on my head would be too much! But then again, for Halloween it’s fine to exaggerate yourself a little bit yea?
I live in Japan& I’m Japanese n people here don’t wear these kinds of things on a daily routine. The 2nd picture may be a bit more realistic. But I’m pretty sure they won’t wear it EVERY single day..workplaces def.do not accept such fashion. The first picture…is just old. There are no more yamambas in Japan. But it certainly is a good halloween idea..Sorry, just wanted to clear out any misconceptions.
I live in Japan, and I would agree the majority of Japanese do not dress this way, but in certain parts they do. The Harajuku girls and Tokyo style are very eccentric. Also, there was a fashion style called Para Para where the women would dress in an different but also eccentric style. There are also a lot of businesses in Japan that promote customers with their staffs eccentric or themed dresses. I don’t think the post was referring to all of Japan since it is traditionally very conservative, but definitely points out the obvious fashion trends that are very unique to Japan.
