Thailand known as “The Land of Smiles”, or the Land of Fake Brands. It has long been known by shoppers as a heaven for fake luxury brands. Fake brands are sold openly at several shopping centers in Bangkok. To purchase a Prada purse may cost you about 520 dollars in Italy, but in Thailand it would only cost you from 199baht-3000baht (US 6 – 100 dollars) No, I am not kidding about the price. The fake versions happens to look so real that you cannot tell the difference between them. However, it is a challenge to keep these fake brands in a well condition. You wouldn’t want to go out to an expensive resturant sitting next to a lady with a real branded purse asking you “Where did you get your purse?” You probably have to lie..”mmm…Italy!” Follow up with “Whats the serial number of that purse?” Now you’re stuck (should look up online for that one) . Then the next thing she ask is “Can I take a look at your purse?’ Now you hand it to her, and she notice that theres a hole in your purse, and one of the button is missing.
Despite what other people think of your fake purse, the most important thing is that you are happy with what you’ve got. But before purchasing these items, it is best to check out the laws in your own country to make sure that it is legal to bring any counterfeit goods home. Customs and Excise state that “Any import, export or simple possession of fake goods is strictly against the law regardless of whether they’ve been obtained from within or outside the EEC, even if it’s for your own personal use. The laws have been tightened and the purchase of a fake brand can lead to immediate confiscation of the item, large fines and even legal proceedings.”
Make sure you take a trip to the Land of Fake Brands one day. Here is a few suggestions for you to purchase fake brands in Thailand:

well, i am a thai and i dont use fake. and i wouldn’t say that my country is a land of fakes! i am currently studying in somewhere in europe.. and if u’ve ever came to italy, well.. there are counterfiet products there as well..!! i’ve been to ‘jae leng (sp?)’ and old don muang market back when i was in thailand – and well, they do have to hide from cops when they are trying to sell the faked items.. intellectual property infringement is against the law everywhere! i understand that there are many people who cant afford the real thing.. but hey, why not just use the local brand in case! imo, it is much easier to get the authentic items from major departmentstores in thailand. and from what i saw on the street and some independent shops department stores.. with your 200-300 baht,, u will get the crappy quality brandless prada-like (e.g. branded proda instead…lol) bag. or an lv speedy like bag with a really strage pattern.
p.s, i am not quite sure by what u mean by fake brand.. i assumed u mean counterfeit items of branded high-end products.
